ISO-Gruppe unanimously supports the UN Global Compact
After ISO Software Systeme GmbH and ISO Public Services GmbH joined the UN initiative in 2020, other companies in the ISO-Gruppe have now publicly committed to the sustainability principles of the UN Global Compact.
The five companies in the ISO-Gruppe have joined the UN Global Compact Network Germany.
The ten universal principles on human rights, labor standards, the environment and anti-corruption are indispensable for constructive and sustainable cooperation. In 2015, the United Nations launched an initiative that calls on companies around the world to think and act in a value-based way.
The initiative is based on the 2030 Agenda, in which the international community has committed itself to jointly solving the global challenges of sustainable development. Learn more on the ISO-Gruppe website and in the 10 Universal Principles of the UN Global Compact.
Due to its global success, national chapters of the original UN Global Compact have been formed. The ISO Group has also joined the UN Global Compact Network Germany. In addition to ISO Software Systeme GmbH and ISO Public Services GmbH, ISO Travel Solutions GmbH, ISO Public Services GmbH and ISO Recruiting Consultants GmbH are now also members.
"By jointly signing the ten principles of the UN Global Compact, we are sending out a clear signal," explains Johannes Reichel, Member of the Management Board of the ISO-Gruppe. "With ten locations in four countries and employees from all over the world, we are international and multicultural from top to bottom. We never forget our Franconian roots, but we are always open to new ideas. Be it through modern technologies or working methods in IT or simply in the way we as a group of companies work together with our employees, customers, partners and suppliers worldwide in a sustainable, fair and equal way".
