Coppenrath and Wiese Bakery Selects SAP Solutions from ISO Professional Services
As part of its SAP S/4HANA implementation, Europe's largest manufacturer of frozen baked goods decided to use data quality solutions from the Marlin Suite.
The confectionery company Coppenrath & Wiese has chosen the SAP data quality solutions of the Marlin Suite.
It's not just the fine baked goods, but also the name Coppenrath & Wiese that has been on everyone's lips for decades. Since 1975, the company from Mettingen in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, has become Europe's largest manufacturer of frozen tarts, cakes, and other baked goods. Coppenrath & Wiese employs a total of 3,000 people. All production takes place in Germany.
But how did Coppenrath & Wiese come to choose the software solutions of ISO Professional Services GmbH (IPS)? In the course of introducing SAP, the company was looking for a complete package for master data management in S/4HANA. During a comprehensive market analysis, they came across the Marlin Suite from IPS. Frank Fäth, authorized signatory of ISO Professional Services and head of the Data Quality department, convinced them of the ISO products in an on-site demonstration workshop. In the end, IPS prevailed over two competitors.
"We were convinced by the complete software package," say Benjamin Voß and Ann-Kathrin Bartsch, who are jointly responsible for the implementation of SAP processes at Coppenrath & Wiese. "Not all competitors could offer that. We were also convinced by the fact that the ISO solution allows jumps into many transactions, such as from the governance process to the purchasing info record."
"In addition to the technical components, the human factor was also important," explains Frank Fäth, authorized signatory of ISO Professional Services GmbH. "We quickly realized that we were on the same wavelength as Ms. Bartsch and Mr. Voß when it came to understanding successful project planning. In addition, we were able to score points with our reference customer Röhm GmbH, for whom we successfully completed a similar project for the SAP Business Partner and Material Master last year.
The implementation of the Marlin Suite at Coppenrath & Wiese has already started. The project includes data governance for the business partner and material master, duplicate check, address validation, VAT ID check, sanctions list check and data enrichment. The team of ISO Professional Services GmbH follows an agile approach in which the customer's changing requirements are discussed in weekly meetings and dynamically implemented.
