ISO-Gruppe implements SAP PI / PO replacement for MARC O'POLO
The SAP experts of ISO Professional Services support the fashion company Marc O'Polo in the development of a harmonized and centralized IT landscape.
MARC O'POLO is the leading premium fashion brand for "modern casual". As a true global player, the company employs approximately 2,000 people who sell approximately 15 million items annually in more than 2,000 stores in 41 countries. It was therefore a special honor for the ISO-Gruppe to play a leading role in helping this renowned company modernize its middleware.
Over the years, MARC O'POLO had built up a heterogeneous and far too complex system landscape. The middleware alone had over 300 system connections using different integration layers - mainly SAP's PI / PO, eBiss (Pranke) and AWS. Not only was this situation complex, time consuming and costly, but SAP will discontinue standard support for PI / PO in 2027. MARC O'POLO had to act quickly and find an IT service provider that knew its business - and that was ISO Professional Services GmbH, a member of the ISO-Gruppe.
The SAP and EAI experts of the ISO-Gruppe supported the international fashion company in analyzing the current situation and creating a roadmap for a well-thought-out, harmonized and centralized IT landscape. The ISO consultants took a close look at MARC O'POLO's middleware and helped define a strategy for a future-proof EAI architecture. The project started in mid-July and was successfully completed in August.
Dominik Terme, Division Head Data & Technology at MARC O'POLO SE: "The practical and long-standing integration experience of the ISO-Gruppe experts was very valuable for us. Together we were able to develop a sound strategy for a well thought-out, harmonized and centralized IT landscape. In addition, the chemistry with Team ISO was right, which further accelerated the process."
Katrin Stein, Senior Sales Manager at ISO Professional Services GmbH: "Winning MARC O'POLO as a customer and advising them on their future strategy is something very special. The cooperation has been characterized by a very respectful, open and constructive interaction with all parties involved."
